Marjorie Opperman
Marjorie Louise Opperman was born July 28, 1927, to William and Mildred Sebens in Milnor, ND. She was the next to youngest of seven children. Marge died peacefully with family members at her home in Touchmark, Fargo, on April 11, 2021, age 93.
The Sebens family moved to Fargo in 1939, and Marge graduated from Fargo (Central) High in 1944. It was there that she met her husband of 70 years, Warren Opperman. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota Agricultural College (NDSU), Marge married and started her family. The next 30 years were spent raising four boys in their home on the north side of Fargo. Marge enjoyed relaxing on Pelican Lake in the summers. Fishing, swimming, and an occasional spin around the lake on water skis were some of her favorite activities. The last time on water skis marked her 70th birthday. She also enjoyed ice skating on the lake. When her boys moved to different parts of the country, she became a ....
