AI Digital Oilfield Lab Opens at University of Houston
The new Artificial Intelligence Industry Incubator and Digital Oilfield Lab at the University of Houston at Sugar Land offers students, faculty and industry collaborators to use artificial sensors and other equipment.
Key players in bringing the lab and incubator to the College of Technology are, from left, Dean Anthony Ambler; Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies George Zouridakis; Konrad Konarski, chair and director of operations at the Artificial Intelligence Industry Incubator; Associate Professor Amaury Lendasse; Professor of Practice David Crawley; and Associate Professor of Instruction Brian Mehring.
The energy industry is rapidly becoming more dependent on the use of data and artificial intelligence. A new Artificial Intelligence Industry Incubator and Digital Oilfield Lab at the University of Houston will allow students, faculty and industry professionals to create the technologies and other solutions needed for the future.
