ALLIANCE – As Rev. Coralee Cox prepared to email her final worship plan to her tech team on Wednesday, she felt a swell of emotions. "My experience in all of this?" she wrote in the email. "If you look up the phrase 'mixed emotions' in the online dictionary, I'm sure you will find my picture somehow with both a smile and shedding many tears." Cox, who has served as the elder and lead pastor of Union Avenue United Methodist Church since 2012, is retiring July 1. Her first in-person service in more than a year, which will take place on Sunday, will also be her last.
