Since the clinic opened at the Amarillo Civic Center on December 30, the public heath department administered 12,000 doses of the vaccine to healthcare workers, seniors and those with chronic health conditions. “Our civic center vaccine supply is dwindled,” said Amarillo Mayor Ginger Nelson. “We know this is going to be a process as it roles out (and) we’re going to keep that clinic open as much as we can.”
