One incoming college freshman is going to have an out-of-this world icebreaker to share with his new classmates after a big-bucks bidder bowed out.
Despite putting up a winning bid of $28 million to join Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in his trip to space aboard his Blue Origin rocket, the anonymous bidder will not be making the 11-minute journey to the edge of space.
