USF responds to the coronavirus pandemic As COVID-19 turned the world upside down in the spring, USF quickly pivoted to protect the health and safety of students, faculty and staff while maintaining academic and business operations. During spring break in March, faculty and staff transitioned all courses – more than 5,200 – to remote instruction, together with all of the critical services the university provides to students.
