Labour’s beleaguered deputy leader Angela Rayner is facing claims of double standards for accusing the Tories of doing their ‘developer donors’ bidding’ after taking cash herself from a property firm. Ms Rayner seized on new figures last month showing the scale of building firms’ donations to the Tories to accuse the party of being in their pockets.
