Apex announces global manufacturing capacity expansion Anilox and ink metering technology specialist, Apex International, has announced staffing growth and capacity expansion at its five global manufacturing facilities – India, Italy, the US, Brazil and the Netherlands. The new investments are set to boost the Nashik plant's production capacity by at least 40% Accordingly, the Apex Asia Pacific facility in Nashik recently saw the installation of a laser, a precision CNC grinder, and a plasma spray unit. “Based on technology and market trends in the last decade, we have planned major investments into our global facilities and capital equipment to address the anticipated industry growth,” said Marian Waterschoot, CEO of Apex International. “We are pleased to now witness the realisation of our ‘Vision: 2020s’ plan.
