(Shutterstock) CONNECTICUT — The state's largest archdiocese announced Monday that later this month parishioners are obligated to begin attending Mass again, as Connecticut relaxes its coronavirus protocols. Gov. Ned Lamont said many protocols will be lifted on May 19, and as a result, the Archdiocese of Hartford said that participation in in-person Mass will begin on May 22 and 23. Churches that have been livestreaming services during the pandemic will continue to do so as a benefit to the home bound. Priests are instructed to remind parishioners that those who can safely attend services in-person will be expected to do so. Masks/face coverings still will be required inside the church.
