Sgt Jessica Mitchell, 30, was found dead in her vehicle on New Year's Day 
Authorities said she was shot multiple times on Interstate 10 in San Antonio 
Mitchell, who leaves behind her son, 10, was assigned as a dental specialist to US Army Medical Center of Excellence on Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston 
No arrests have been made in the case and authorities have not released any information about a possible suspect
