ASO's New Year's Ball is an Online Event | This Week : vimar

MONTGOMERY – As a way to give back to the community after the events of 2020, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra is inviting you to ring in the new year virtually at the 2020 Maestro’s Ball at 7pm on News Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31.
Performing at the Maestro’s Ball for the first time is the Alabama Symphony Youth Orchestra, conducted by Kevin Fitzgerald, that will present a stirring performance from the finale of Dvorak’s Ninth Symphony. This safe and physically distanced New Year’s Eve celebration is perfect for the young and young at heart.
In the spirit of coming together, for the first time ever, all four members of the ASO’s conducting staff will be taking part in the festivities. This includes a special duo performance with Music Director Laureate Justin Brown and Music Director Carlos Izcaray.
