Community Content HUDSON — The Assabet Valley Camera Club will host a presentation on high dynamic range imaging by Hazel Meredith, a photographer, teacher, speaker, workshop leader and competition judge, at 7:30 p.m. March 3. Involved in the photographic community on the local, regional and national levels, Meredith has held leadership positions in several organizations and has received distinction awards from both the Photographic Society of America and the New England Camera Club Council. The purpose of HDR is to maintain the extremes of light that a camera cannot capture in one image. During her presentation, "HDR Imaging: The Natural Look," Meredith will demonstrate with Photomatix, a program that can tone map the image, how to capture a high dynamic range of light and render it into a single image accenting texture and details.
