Assam: Mob Attacks Forest Dept Officials, 6 Injured in Kokrajhar
No casualty was reported in the firing which took place near the India-Bhutan border when 6 members of Assam forest dept were attacked by a mob

KOKRAJHAR: Forest department officials in Assam opened fire when a six-member was allegedly injured in an attack by a mob attempting to occupy its land in Assam.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Assam's Kokrajhar district at Goraibazar village near Indo-Bhutan Border when forest official opened fire to control the situation.
However, no casualty was reported in the firing incident.
Forest official stated that when they asked the locals to clear the forest area, they refused and attacked the team members leaving six of them injured
