We are Menken Simpson & Rozger LLP, a small, cutting-edge, plaintiff-side employment law and civil rights firm. For over 25 years, we have represented individuals and classes of employees in discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, and whistleblowing matters. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, dogged advocate with excellent writing and research skills, a passion for working with clients and co-workers, a willingness to take initiative and work hard, and a commitment to advancing civil rights for employees and victims of government misconduct alike. The candidate must have 2-5 years of litigation and/or clerkship experience, and we prefer candidates who (i) have drafted at least one substantial brief, (ii) have excellent time-management and organizational skills, and (iii) possess an ability to work independently on legal research and writing projects. Admission or pending admission (passed the bar) to the New York Bar is required. Prior employment law experience is a plus but not necessary. Note this posting is for an “Associate” not “Junior Associate” position. Compensation and Benefits: We offer competitive health benefits and an employer matching retirement contribution. Base salary range for this associate position is $80,000-$120,000.00 plus annual and case origination bonuses.
