Attorney Geoffrey Fieger says 25 clients won’t be ‘strong-armed’ into joining Flint water settlement Updated 12:53 PM; Facebook Share FLINT, MI -- Attorney Geoffrey Fieger says 25 clients with pending Flint water crisis lawsuits won’t be “strong-armed” into dropping their cases against McLaren Regional Medical Center and joining in a $641-million settlement with the hospital, the state of Michigan and others. Speaking in a virtual hearing in federal court Wednesday, April 21, Feiger told U.S. District Court Judge Judith E. Levy and Genesee Circuit Court Judge Joseph J. Farah that all but one of his clients with Legionnaires’ disease claims don’t want to settle their cases under the terms of the agreement that’s received preliminary approval from the courts.
