Another pretrial conference date has been set in the case against a Cadiz man accused of murdering a Powderly man on Old Rocky Point Road in August. During a Wednesday court appearance before Trigg Circuit Judge Woody Woodall, Montie Streeval’s attorney Bill Deatherage said he needs more time to look at evidence. The next pretrial conference was set for Wednesday, June 9, although Commonwealth’s Attorney Carrie Ovey-Wiggins added test results might not be available by that point. She added by that date; they may have a better idea of when they will be completed. Streeval remains lodged in the Christian County Jail.
