Azerbaijan, Turkey mutually allow their citizens to travel using internal passports from April 1 BAKU. March 17 (Interfax) - Citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey can make trips between the two countries using their internal passports starting from April 1, 2021. "Turkey and Azerbaijan are becoming closer. Citizens of these two countries can make mutual trips using new identification documents starting on April 1, 2021," the Turkish National Police said in a report posted on Twitter. The agency also said the period of visa-free stay for citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey during mutual trips is 90 days. According to earlier reports, a protocol envisaging mutual trips by citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey on internal passports was signed on December 10, 2020.
