Barnes Air National Guard Base awaits decision on F-35 fight

The Pentagon is expected to announce by year’s end whether Barnes Air National Guard Base and its 104th Fighter Wing will get an upgraded version of the F-15 fighter jets it flies now or, preferably, the latest F-35 Lightning II aircraft.
