Belarus: opponent Tikhanovskaya sentenced to 15 years in pri

On Monday, a Belarusian court sentenced main opponent Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who lives in exile, to 15 years in prison in absentia. According to the state-run Belta news agency and human rights organization Viasna, a another famous opponent, Pavel Latouchko, was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
