In a 75-page letter sent last week, the city lambasted the university’s 2021 Long Range Development Plan and its accompanying environmental documents, arguing that UC Berkeley failed to adequately analyze the effects of its projected growth. In addition, the city called the environmental analysis “fatally flawed,” adding that it does not comply with California law.
