Better Together, established in 2016 to help families and connect the jobless to jobs, is hosting its first in-person job fair in Southwest Florida since the coronavirus pandemic began. The job fair will have five prospective employers and will last from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Community Church at 4050 Colonial Blvd., in Fort Myers. Advance Auto Parts, Jimmy John’s, J.W. Marriott, Managed Labor Solutions and Timberline Construction Group will be on hand and hiring on the spot, said Megan Rose, CEO of Better Together. The job fair will be following Centers for Disease Control guidelines with the wearing of masks required and social distancing encouraged.
