Bills 2021 NFL Draft: Buffalo adds ‘gifted player’ in Greg Rousseau (Report card grades) Updated Apr 30, 2021; Posted Apr 30, 2021 Miami edge rusher Gregory Rousseau holds a team jersey after being chosen by the Buffalo Bills with the 30th pick in the first round of the NFL football draft Thursday April 29, 2021, in Cleveland. (AP Photo/Tony Dejak)AP Facebook Share Gregory Rousseau checked quite a few boxes for the Buffalo Bills. Height (6-feet-7-inches) and weight (266) that Buffalo looks for off the edge? Check. Insane wingspan (83 1/4-inch wingspan )? Check. Versatility to play across the defensive line? Check. Rousseau also checked another important box for the Bills: Production. The defensive lineman recorded 15.5 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss as a redshirt freshman with the Miami Hurricanes in 2019. Following his breakout season, expectations were high for Rousseau in 2020 but he opted out due to COVID-19 concerns. That opt out and a pro day performance that did not leap off the page led to Rousseau falling down the draft board and into the Bills’ lap.
