Board calls for Wabash Township trustee's resignation, citing residency issues and no confidence

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Wabash Township Board lost confidence in Trustee Jennifer Teising and emailed her Monday asking for her resignation.
"Given that the fire department and the township board concur in our lack of confidence in your leadership, we must respectfully ask for your resignation," Monday's email to Teising ends.
The board has no authority to remove her from office and only has authority over the township's budget. But there is no question about the board's intent in the email.
