Body of missing college student found in Kentucky days after disappearance Nelson Oliveira The search for a young woman who disappeared on her way to Eastern Kentucky University came to a heartbreaking end Thursday. Lauren Reesor, 19, was found dead in a remote part of Central Kentucky following a multi-agency search for her whereabouts, authorities said. The college student was reported missing Tuesday after her car was found abandoned in Stamping Ground, just north of Lexington. The cause of death is under investigation, but the Scott County Sheriff’s Office does not suspect foul play. “Please join our office in offering condolences to the family of Ms. Reesor during this very difficult time,” the agency said in a Facebook post.
