Tilton/Getty Images The Atlanta Hawks suffered their fourth consecutive loss on Saturday evening, falling to the Charlotte Hornets in frustrating fashion. While that win-loss result was unfavorable, the Hawks are also battling significant injury issues, including the loss of veteran wing Bogdan Bogdanovic with what the team referred to as a right knee injury during Saturday’s defeat. In an early afternoon media availability on Sunday, Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce revealed that Bogdanovic was undergoing an MRI at Emory Sports Medicine Complex. Hours later, the Hawks announced that Bogdanovic “has been diagnosed with an avulsion fracture in his right knee with associated soft tissue inflammation and a bone bruise.”
