A WIND ADVISORY will remain in effect until noon for the Livingston and Beartooth Foothills area. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY will remain in effect for portions of west-central and southwest Montana. We finally made it to Friday, and snow showers continue to fall in portions of northwest and west-central Montana. Along with falling snow, breezy conditions will affect visibility at times. Daytime highs will stay in the 30s and 40s. Snow showers will spread into portions of southwest Montana during the afternoon. A potent cold front and shift in wind direction will allow folks in north-central Montana to get in on the snow activity. Widespread light snow will be on-off and is expected to continue through the overnight hours into tomorrow morning. By Saturday, the snow totals will stay under three inches in the lower elevations, and the mountains could see between four to nine inches.
