Brian De Los Santos Named Editor of LAist
Online News Division of Southern California Public Radio Continues to Add Voices to Newsroom to Further its Mission of Telling the Diverse Stories of Los Angeles
Pasadena, Calif. January 21, 2021 — Southern California Public Radio (SCPR) has announced that Brian De Los Santos will be the new editor of LAist (www.laist.com), effective January 11. The position will report to Megan Garvey, executive editor of LAist. The move completes a circle for De Los Santos, who began his journalism career as an intern for KPCC and SCPR in 2011, reporting for their community blogs.
