MyCentralJersey.com RARITAN BOROUGH – A 56-year-old Bridgewater man, already facing DWI charges in connection to the death of an Arizona woman who was out for a run when she was fatally struck in a marked crosswalk, was indicted Wednesday on vehicular homicide and hindering charges. Kevin D. Betyeman, of Maple Street in Bridgewater, was indicted on charges of second-degree reckless vehicular homicide, third-degree strict liability vehicular homicide and two charges of third-degree hindering apprehension or prosecution, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael Robertson said. Betyeman was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado and traveling eastbound on Old York Road around 3:30 p.m. Sept. 18 when his vehicle struck and killed 60-year-old Celeste Andresen of San Manuel, Arizona, authorities said. At the time of the collision, Andresen was attempting to cross Old York Road near Woodmere Street in a well-marked crosswalk, according to the indictment.
