Brightline, FEC and state seek millions in federal money help to cut down on rail deaths : vimarsana.com

Brightline is teaming with the Florida Department of Transportation to apply for federal help that would provide $45 million in joint funding for a rail crossing safety project along the Florida East Coast Railway line. The project is designed to cut down on the proliferation of train-vehicle collisions between Miami-Dade and Brevard counties. If approved, work could start by as early as August.
