The city announced Richard Giusti will assume the position early next month. "To be selected for this I am truly humbled, I really am," said Giusti. "It's exciting to me, but not just because I'll be fire chief, it's where I'll be fire chief. Bryan is such an awesome city." Giusti will be coming from the San Antonino Fire Department, where he has been serving since 1995. He is currently the assistant fire chief and oversees 400 people in the department. His duties include planning, policy, program development, performance evaluation, reporting and training.
