Migratory monarch butterflies will be released as part of festivals in suburban Philadelphia celebrating the endangered species. Colonial Gardens in Phoenixville, Chester County, is holding a butterfly event on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Upper Schuylkill Valley Park in Montgomery County is hosting a similar event on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 10 a.m. to noon.
