And as we honor an industry that provides so much to our culture and our economy, I wanted Thio personally get to tell you about a program we have been working on for several months now. And it is, ah, program that will showcase our state's incredible artists and make our state capital capital even more beautiful. Today we're asking Kentucky Artists for submissions to the Team Kentucky Gallery, which will be located in the main hall of the capital. The capital is the people's house, and there's no better place to highlight Kentucky's voices represented through art. We want to make sure Kentucky Ins across the Commonwealth see their stories and communities represented. This exhibit is by Team Kentucky 14, Kentucky Justus. It should be selected artworks with the theme team. Kentucky will be divided into collections. Each collection will be displayed for 16 month rotation in the capital and also on a Team Kentucky Digital Art Gallery with the artists Contact Information. The deadline to submit artworks for our first rotation is May 15th. After really tough year as a board member at Mary Hearst, I saw the transformative power firsthand of art. So, um, seeing how it helps so many young women hell and reflect, I can't think of a better way to represent the year that we have had together as a mom. I know how important it is for kids to have that time to be creative as well. And given the extra anxiety they've had over this past year, having a creative outlet is so important. And I know both of my kids have needed that in different ways, and I look forward to seeing even some Children out there who want to submit artwork as well. Let's see the arts and humanities Craig play a critical role in enhancing Kentucky culture, education and tourism. The industry also generates more than $2.3 billion annually, and economic development can't wait to see the creativity and the hope you will all bring to this gallery. We will get through this together with exhibit. With this exhibit, we can share Team Kentucky story with everyone who visits the capital
