Hit 104.7 has made a slight improvement for the second ratings out of Canberra this year, climbing 1.9 share points to a 12.9% share. The lift, however, was not enough to undo last survey’s catastrophic fall, where the station tumbled from a 20.% share to 11.0%. The city’s recently crowned top station, Mix 106.3, meanwhile, added to its market-leading position, jumping from 17.6% to 18.3%. Both stations are a 50/50 joint venture between Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) and the Australian Radio Network (ARN), known as Canberra FM Radio. Hit 104.7 is programmed in line with SCA’s Hit Network, while Mix 106.3 is sold as part of the KIIS Network.
