This is the largest acquisition in its history. Capco is a global management and technology consultancy to BFSI industry and provides digital, consulting, technology services in America, Europe & Asia Pacific. Wipro to be one of the largest providers of integrated, end-to-end consulting, digital, cloud and IT transformation services. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals. Acquisition is expected to close in the quarter ended June 30, 2021. In an analyst call Thierry Delaporte, CEO and Managing Director of Wipro Limited said, this is the largest acquisition in Wipro’s history. Acquisition is inline with "Bolder Wipro" strategy. Capco will bring scale for Wipro in BFSI space and the deal will add to EPS from third year. Capco acquisition will dilute Wipro IT services EBIT margins by ~2% in first year. Margins will improve in future based on revenue and cost synergies.
