Carman-Ainsworth Schools Move to Virtual Learning Until 4/19/21
Carman-Ainsworth Schools have moved back to virtual learning.
As of today, Tuesday, April 6th, Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools have taken a step back from face-to-face learning. In a post on Facebook last night, the school district announced the switch back to virtual learning for students.
Due to the significant increase in COVID-19 cases in Genesee County and Governor Whitmer's recommendation encouraging schools to be virtual, Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools will switch to remote learning effective tomorrow, April 6, 2021. This decision is made to mitigate further spread of COVID-19...the Facebook post read. 
In the future, Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools are planning to return on Monday, April 19th, 2021 for hybrid face-to-face learning for all grades. As for now, the school schedule will follow their 2020-2021 Return to School Preparedness Plan with classes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday will remain a half-day. Classes will run from 8 am until 3 pm.
