CASES heard at Salisbury Magistrates' Court: MATTHEW STUART COOKE, aged 39, of Devizes Road, Salisbury, was found guilty of exceeding 60mph when driving a Ford Transit last year. The offence was recorded when Cooke was driving along the A30 in St Austell, Cornwall, on July 7. Cooke was fined £184 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. His driving record was endorsed with three points. DANIEL MORRIS, aged 30, of Huntingdon Close, Holbeach, in Lincolnshire, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a vehicle in Amesbury while under the influence of drugs. On June 9 last year Morris, who was responsible for a Peugeot 206, was recorded along High Street with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, the main ingredient of cannabis, in his blood. Morris was fined £373 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £37 and costs of £85. His driving record was endorsed with 10 points.
