Courtesy photo A resolution aimed at getting a Best Western Hotel open comes before the Chandler City Council at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 13. At the March 16 Chandler Economic Development Corporation meeting, after hearing from City Administrator John Whitsell and EDC Director Jim Moffeitt, the board made a major move toward finishing the project. By a 6-0 vote, they recommended advancing the $200,000 to Chandler Texas Hospitality for completion of the building at 301 N. Sawmill Road. The funds must now be approved by the city council.
