Chinese hackers’ groups allegedly targeted Telangana State Load Dispatch Centre (TSLDC). (Representational photo - Pixabay)  Hyderabad: A massive Mumbai-type power outage was averted in Telangana after the Central Electricity Authority alerted the Telangana government that the Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-In) has suspected that Chinese hackers may target TS Transco and TS Genco. According to ToI report, Chinese hackers’ groups allegedly targeted Telangana State Load Dispatch Centre (TSLDC), however, the cyber attack was successfully thwarted by the state government agencies. On receiving information from a trusted source about a China-based groups' command and control servers trying to communicate with systems belonging to the TSLDC, TS Transco and TS Genco were alerted and asked to take adequate measures.
