In George C. Wolfe’s excellent new Netflix film of August Wilson’s “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom,” Chadwick Boseman looks gaunt, tired and vulnerable. This great actor was, as we now all know, battling the colon cancer that would bring about his death last summer at age 43.
