Chris Lambton, Cape Cod official and TV star, clears Scargo

DENNIS – For Chris Lambton, Scargo Tower is more than a popular attraction for residents and tourists. It's a community fixture.
“Scargo Tower, for me ... it is Dennis,” said Lambton, a member of the Dennis Select Board. “That’s the most iconic image of Dennis. You get a great view. If you’re up there on a clear day, you can see from the bay ... to the ocean.”
But the view from the 30-foot stone tower, perched on what is considered the highest point on the mid-Cape, has been blocked over the past decade because of a lack of maintenance of shrubs, trees and other plants.
