Clarks research shows Scotland dominating list of UK's best

Just three of the top ten beaches in the UK are outside Scotland, according to the research.
Scotland also dominated the podium when it came to hiking trails. Berwickshire Coastal Path in the Scottish Borders polled top, with Ben Craigforth in Stirling taking bronze. County Down’s North Down Coastal Path came second in that ranking.

The top ten hiking paths have a strong showing for the English South West, with Cornwall and Devon taking up four of the spots between them.
When it comes to parks, Fife’s Silverburn Park was rated the best in the UK. Second and third place were taken by the English Southampton Common in Hampshire and Hereford Board and Bike Park in Herefordshire respectively.
