A SUPERMARKET has launched an investigation after a large amount of its rubbish was dumped in a Brighton park. The Co-op said it would be speaking to its contractor after appalled residents found items, which appeared to be from its Lewes Road store, in East Brighton Park. The store's name appeared on a flytipped cardboard box, one of a number of items discovered by residents yesterday. Rubbish which appears to be from the Lewes Road Co-op was found in East Brighton Park Trolleys, a filing cabinet and a National Lottery stand were also among the "shocking" amount of dumped materials.
