College notebook: GSHL connection made in Eastern Washington’s win
Battle Ground’s Talkington toss TD pass to Heritage’s Taras

A Greater St. Helens League connection led to an Eastern Washington touchdown on Saturday.
Battle Ground grad Gunner Talkington got his first career start at quarterback in EWU’s 62-10 win over Cal Poly. The redshirt junior threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns.
The second of those touchdowns went to Heritage grad Michael Taras. The redshirt sophomore hauled in his first collegiate touchdown on an 18-yard pass in the fourth quarter.
Camas grad Dylan Ingram also got into the scoring action. The tight end caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from normal Eagles starter Eric Barriere, who played in the middle portion of the game.
