A wooden cabinet of Dewey Decimal-assigned cards stands by the entrance of the Graves County Public Library, perhaps as a testament to libraries of the past. Banks of computer consoles showcase a newer era where information can be called up in a flash, alongside rooms dedicated to reading and research. Wednesday, community members gathered for a ribbon cutting on another phase of the Graves County Public Library with its new community room and reading garden. During a brief introduction, GCPL Director Deana Gschwind thanked the community and the libraryâs board of trustees for their support to expand the libraryâs campus, as well as planning, design and work by Riley Architect Services and Adams Construction Company.
