Written by Weston Historical Society As a lead-in to the Weston Historical Society’s 1920s exhibit, which will open later this year, the society is organizing a virtual lecture series that will explore events that influenced and shaped the Roaring 20s. The first virtual lecture, “Connecticut’s Role in World War I”, will be presented by Christine Pittsley of the CT State Library on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 6:30pm via Zoom. The event is free, but registration is required. Register at www.westonhistoricalsociety.org. The Zoom link will be emailed 24 hours before the event.
