Connor Washington and Jose Garcia Battle To Top Sprint Marks - - - AUSTIN, TEXAS -- The state of Texas is known for fast sprints, and on Saturday night at Mike Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas, they did not disappoint. Both the UIL Class 6A boys 100m and 200m fields were loaded with some of the state and nation's top talent. The 100m race kicked things off in an exciting fashion. After some early nerves and an initial false start, the race got off. The Woodlands College Park (TX) senior Connor Washington, who came into the field with a seed time of 10.20, got out to an early lead after a strong start.
