It comes as a Brisbane quarantine hotel will be evacuated and hundreds of people quarantined after six cases of the highly contagious UK strain were traced back to that CBD hotel. Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the cluster was "of national concern", saying the number of international arrivals must be decreased. Loading Queensland's Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young said hotel quarantine and international arrival arrangements had to be reviewed immediately. Ms Berejiklian said NSW Health officials haven't identified the source of the two cases from Tuesday, "but the genomic testing has linked them to the Berala cluster," she said.
