He added that while smaller Herkimer County schools have had the capacity to bus students who wanted to attend school in person, under the old 6-foot rule, they lacked the classroom space to bring those students back. "Those schools benefit from the 6-foot/3-foot change in guidance, but Central Valley does not. Central Valley needs a guidance change that allows us to put more kids on buses for it to affect us,” he said. The Little Falls City School District plans to bring its fourth- and fifth-graders back to five-days a week in-person learning starting Monday, April 26, according to School Superintendent Keith Levatino.
