COVID vaccinations begin at Ravalli County Public Health : v

Ravalli County Sheriff Detective Brad Weston received a COVID vaccine at Ravalli County Public Health on Tuesday as part of Phase 1A and 1B vaccinations for the county.
Phase 1A and 1B includes Emergency Medical Services, firefighters, police, dispatchers, dental, home health, hospice, funeral services, ski patrol and other first responders.
The COVID-19 vaccine was from Moderna.
After receiving his vaccination Weston waited in the health department for 15 minutes.
“Any time we give a vaccination or any medication that people have never had before we watch them for anaphylaxis, it’s a typical safety precaution,” Webber said. “With the COVID vaccine, if Brad had indicated he’d ever had any reaction to any sorts of medicines we would watch him for 30 minutes.”
