He held to cabinet meetings where he was dialed into teleconference. The white house was keen on making sure the American People knew the president was engaged. He got back to the white house yesterday evening. He will spend the day there and has a number of different meetings with the Vice President and the secretary of state. He has a meeting with the president of finland. We here the president will be going to texas on tuesday. We are not sure if he will go directly to houston or some of the other areas directly impacted by the storm. Hearing the president wants to get down to texas as quickly as possible. He tweeted over the weekend that he would like to get to texas as quickly if possible without causing any disruptions. We can expect that if he goes to texas tomorrow, he will try to go somewhere where he will not be a burden on the First Responders and those trying to help rescue people. Maybe does not go directly to houston. Maybe somewhere where he is not a drag on the First Responders and emergency personnel. Many people are still trapped in our homes are in the middle of floods. They need help from helicopters and a number of different assets being deployed down and out.
